Le Moulin de Valaurie**** offers both the art of an excellent table, and the essence of Provence. The restaurant’s various spaces offer a refined and welcoming dining room, a luminous veranda and a shaded terrace facing the park and water. The décor serves as a setting for the plate. With its dark, rough wooden tables and light grey furniture, the decoration combines the charm of authenticity with refinement. Seating 60, the restaurant invites diners to a true gourmet getaway, to discover the gastronomic riches and flavours of the Drôme.

A restaurant supplied from its own garden

Taking care to offer its guests impeccable quality and local supply, the Moulin de Valaurie**** has its own garden. Covering an area of 2000 square metres, including a greenhouse, it produces a tonne of fresh produce each year, supplying 80% of the restaurant’s needs. Quality, authenticity and nature are the key values for this prolific garden: seedlings and seeds are organic, and crops grown without treatment. Particular attention was paid to the choice of plants: heritage tomatoes, Florence aubergines, about thirty different varieties of aromatic herbs, edible flowers, Jerusalem artichokes, artichokes, butternut squash, raspberries and melons, among others, depending on the season. They are close to the fruit orchard: figs, apples, peaches, apricots, and cherries complete this Garden of Eden.

  • Restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 13:30, and 19:30 to 21:00. The hours can change at different times
  • Lunch from € 26, plus drinks, at “La Trattoria”
  • Dinner "a la carte", plus drinks, at “Le Moulin”, tasting menu served to the whole table
  • Breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 from Monday to Friday, and 8:00 on Saturdays and Sundays
